Representing the 31st House District since 2019, Jill Barry is a responsive leader focused on supporting small businesses, standing up for public safety, and supporting the top-notch education Glastonbury has come to expect. As the Vice Chair of the Education Committee, a member of the influential Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee, and the Public Safety Committee, Jill works to deliver results for Glastonbury.
Jill takes serving our community seriously, which is why during this session she voted for every Glastonbury resident supporting the biggest tax cuts in CT’s history which put money back into residents’ pockets and the community. Jill worked to establish a fully funded, first-of-its-kind mental health program to ensure all our children are safe and have the resources they need. She also offered additional relief to local businesses and restaurants so they can keep their doors open despite facing numerous challenges following the pandemic.
All of Jill’s efforts this year worked to make life easier for Glastonbury residents, even in the face of historically high inflation rates. She is proud to have made these critical investments in our community while maintaining CT’s fiscal responsibility and integrity for the future.
